Green and Open Spaces

For the first time in a long time I got to watch the seasons change, from Summer to amber toned bliss. I’ve spent the last eight years in Los Angles and inevitably rid myself of the thing I loved most growing up on the east coast. The most simple thing, most likely taken for granted back then has now been the most cathartic and sobering dose of simplicity that I needed. Coincidentally, I'm here in Massachusetts at the same time I need to set this thing live and finally put in motion. Vert Devant has been a project I’ve been tending to for months and inching towards for a long while. It feels good to be in a place where perfection is not the aim, and enjoying the process is something I can genuinely grasp and value for what it is. I have spent the last five years in different career and creative whirlwinds that have been adventurous and evolving. This here, Vert Devant, is my quiet place where I can slow down and enjoy the elements I love the most. This will be a green and open space, to play, create, let ideas freely roam and for dimensional textile pieces and editorial-type waves to come forth.
